Selling a Business – Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
A standard listing costs $99 and a featured listing is $149 (both include GST).
How long do listings run for?
Standard and Featured listings are displayed for six months.
When I sell my business do you charge a commission?
No. The only cost is the $99 or $149 listing fee. This is a one off non recurring payment and no other charges apply.
What is the difference between standard and featured listings?
Featured listings appear first in all search results, allow you to display three pictures instead of one, and have an enhanced appearance in search results. These points make the featured listings more popular with both sellers and buyers alike.
Is the service confidential?
Absolutely, you are free to add as much or as little information about the business as you like. When buyers contact you they must first be registered with us, and then complete a simple contact form. This form allows them to establish contact without any of you details being shown. You will receive an email from us with the buyer’s message and contact details.
Can I change or delete my listing?
Yes. When you register as a seller you set as password. You are then able to login to the user console with you email and password. This console allows you to change the advert as often as you like.
How do I pay?
We accept Visa and MasterCard payments, or Bank Transfer and Cheque payments.
Is payment secure?
Yes. We take credit card security very seriously. Your payment will be processed via eWay using the very latest encryption technology. If you would like information about security measures used by eway you can visit their website at www.eway.com.au
Will my email address be sold?
No. Your email address will not be passed onto any third party. Your confidentiality is very important to us and we will not do anything to compromise it.
Do you offer support?
